Lloyd’s Register’s Acquisition of GreenSteam

GreenSteam, a leading marine data intelligence company, announced its sale to Lloyd’s Register, a global professional services company specialising in engineering and technology for the maritime industry.

GreenSteam uses machine learning technology to improve marine fuel efficiency and vessel performance. It has grown rapidly since it launched in Denmark in 2007 and now has offices in Poland and the UK.

Lloyd’s Register offers clients advice, support and solutions helping them safely, sustainably and efficiently transition through the regulatory, societal and technical challenges in the years ahead. Their technical expertise is offered in over 70 locations, serving clients based in 182 countries.
