Itochu Petroleum’s Acquisition of a 5.3% Stake in Hindustan Aegis LPG

Khaitan & Co advised Itochu Petroleum on the transaction, while Veritas Legal advised Aegis Logistics

Itochu acquired an additional 5.3% stake in Hindustan Aegis LPG Limited from Aegis Gas (LPG) Private Limited. Following the deal, Itochu has a 25% stake in Hindustan Aegis LPG, which is developing a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) import terminal at Haldia port in West Bengal.
