iA Financial Group’s Acquisition Of Innovative Aftermarket Systems

iA Financial Group executed its acquisition of Innovative Aftermarket Systems (IAS), a premier marketer, administrator, and underwriter of vehicle protection products, from Genstar Capital. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Genstar Capital is a leading private equity firm focused on investments in targeted segments of the financial services, healthcare, industrial, and software industries.

IAS is the leading provider of automotive warranties, vehicle services contracts training, and related software and services sold across a broad and diverse distribution network. IAS has over 500 employees nationally and more than 4,300 active dealer relationships.

iA Financial Group (TSX: IAG) operates as an insurance and wealth management company. The Company offers life, car, home, mortgage, critical illness and disability, travel, and group insurance services, as well as savings plans, retirement solutions, annuities, securities, investment funds, loans, and financial services.
