Holland & Hart LLP announced the expansion of its Immigration practice with the addition of partners Chris Thomas, Ann Lee, and Samantha Wolfe, who join from the Denver office of Ogletree Deakins. The addition of this team enhances the firm’s ability to provide efficient, cost-effective immigration counseling and visa support services that help employers optimize their global workforce needs.
Chris Thomas, a trusted advisor to corporate executives, boards, and talent managers, rejoins Holland & Hart and knows first-hand the benefits of a full-service firm. “Immigration issues often intersect with many other areas of the law, from tax and employment to corporate and white-collar defense,” said Thomas. “It’s a great value-add for our team to quickly access specialized expertise and provide our clients with responsive, strategic counsel. We also appreciate Holland & Hart’s people-centric approach to client service, which is an important core alignment for us.”
Chris works with executives, operational leaders, and talent management teams to help position companies for success with effective, compliant global mobility programs. He helps a wide range of companies secure employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant visas. When companies and individuals face government investigations or audits he helps them navigate dangerous pitfalls and potential areas of exposure. He also works with companies to complete internal audits and to develop and implement policies to prepare for state and federal enforcement action.
Ann Lee works with companies on proactive plans and programs to meet their current and future talent needs. She helps clients in a wide range of industries to secure the right talent for business-critical functions through employment-based non-immigrant and immigrant visas. Ann invests time and resources in robust training for clients’ talent acquisition teams, through global town hall-style legal updates and one-on-one counseling to identify and resolve issues up front.
Samantha Wolfe provides strategic counsel to help employers navigate complex immigration challenges. Her clients range from small businesses operating domestically that require specific talent to multinational enterprises operating global mobility programs. She handles a wide range of non-immigrant employment visa petitions as well as PERM Certifications and petitions for employer-sponsored immigrant visas. She also helps clients establish and maintain compliant programs and provides training for talent management teams.
