FountainVest Partners’ Acquisition of China F&B Group

FountainVest Partners announced its acquisition of China F&B Group from EQT Partners.

China F&B Group operates two renowned international restaurant franchises in China, Dairy Queen and Papa John’s Pizza, and is the world’s largest franchisee of Dairy Queen and one of the largest franchisees of Papa John’s outside of the United States.

FountainVest is a private equity investor backed by global institutional investors and is based in Hong Kong. The firm focuses on long term oriented investments and targets industry leaders in the industrial, consumer and retail, media and entertainment, and healthcare sectors. FountainVest was founded in 2007 and is based in Hong Kong with offices in Shanghai, China and Beijing, China.
