Elwood Technologies’ $70 Million Series A Funding Round

Latham & Watkins has advised Elwood Technologies on the deal. Taylor Wessing advised Dawn Capital.

Elwood Technologies, a platform providing institutional-grade access to digital asset markets and liquidity venues, executed its US$70 million Series A funding round.

Elwood will deploy the funds to meet the needs of its rising number of institutional clients by expanding the breadth of its product offerings and its global operations.

The round was co-led by Dawn Capital and Goldman Sachs, with participation from Barclays, BlockFi Ventures, Chimera Ventures, CommerzVentures, Digital Currency Group, Flow Traders, and Galaxy Digital Ventures.

The Latham team was led by London corporate partner Shing Lo (Picture), with associates Jon Fox and Ryan Martin.

The Taylor Wessing’s team was led by partner Howard Palmer with support from legal advisor Deepti Patankar and associate Emily Townsend.
