Egiss’ Acquisition of Refurb

The Danish based IT hardware logistics company, Egiss A/S announced its acquisition of Refurb A/S.

Refurb A/S is a circular economic enterprise specialized in refurbishment and recycling of IT hardware.

Backed by EMK Capital Partners, Egiss A/S is one of the world’s leading IT logistics companies, supplying IT and technology equipment to global companies via its own service hubs in the USA, Mexico, Brazil, China, India, South Africa, Indonesia and Denmark.

Refurb A/S buys used IT equipment from companies and public organisations for renovation, recycling and resale. For more than a decade, they have been a circular economic enterprise with the overall purpose of creating a sustainable, socially responsible business. Refurb employs 55 people and helped save 18,000 tons of CO2 in 2021 alone.

The acquisition of Refurb A/S strengthens Egiss A/S’ position in the IT landscape, upgrades its lifecycle services and improves its ESG fingerprint in the market.
