Domino’s Pizza Group’s Sale of Domino’s Pizza GmbH

Fried Frank acted as counsel to Domino’s Pizza Group plc on the deal.

Domino’s Pizza Group plc (DPG) completed the sale of Domino’s Pizza GmbH, the holder of the Domino’s master franchise rights in Switzerland (Domino’s Switzerland).

The disposal of Domino’s Switzerland is the final part of DPG’s strategy (mandated by the plc board in October 2019) to exit from all directly operated international markets. This sale brought a 15-month sale process to an end, where during this time Fried Frank also advised on the sale of DPG’s business in Norway in 2020 and the sale of its businesses in Sweden and Iceland earlier this year.

The Fried Frank team was led by corporate partner Ian Lopez (Picture) and included corporate partner Neil Caddy; tax partner Nick Thornton; corporate associates Nick Skill, James Frecknall, and Adrian Packer; tax associates Richard Pilgrim and Thomas Bramall; and trainee associate Natalia Ivanova.
