DLA Piper Argentina has promoted two of its Senior Associates to Counsel: Florencia Fabio in the Dispute Resolution practice and Juan Pablo Reverendo in the Corporate and M&A practice.
The promotion of Juan Pablo Reverendo will significantly boost the Corporate practice – an area in which the firm is a market leader with a wide range of renowned clients. Additionally, the promotion of Florencia Fabio is excellent news for DLA Piper Argentina’s Dispute Resolution practice, which aims to offer the best dispute resolution strategies for companies.

Florencia Fabio graduated as a lawyer from the Law School of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), where she earned a Special Degree in Civil Procedure Law, as well as a master’s degree in Private International Law. She focuses her practice on complex litigation advising national and international clients. She has also conducted compliance investigations and advised on contract law and insurance.
Florencia has vast experience litigating some of the most prominent cases taking place in Argentina. She has been involved in labor proceedings and national and international arbitration, and served as legal advisor to some of the most notable Argentine insurance companies, pursuing legal claims in Commercial Courts and in several Argentine provinces.
Juan Pablo Reverendo graduated as a lawyer from Universidad Austral with a Postgraduate Degree in Arbitration and a Degree in Law and New Technologies. He specializes in M&A, Corporate Law, Venture Capital, and Private Equity with extensive experience advising local and international clients on corporate matters. He also leaders M&A and joint venture transactions in domestic and cross-border operations.
Juan Pablo joined the firm in November 2021 as an Associate. He was promoted to Senior Associate in August 2022 and then in January 2024 promoted to Counsel, on track to become full Partner. Prior to joining DLA Piper, Juan Pablo advised start-ups in international venture capital rounds. Previously, he served as Legal Manager of the Southern Cone LATAM subsidiaries of Philip Morris International (NYSE PM), where he actively participated in some of the company’s most complex legal matters.
Juan Pablo and Florencia’s appointments became effective on January 1, 2024, and February 1, 2024, respectively.
