Deloitte and Dentons Chile signed an agreement combining the professional services consulting firm’s expertise with the law firm’s Fintech practice.
The agreement will allow companies in the Fintech ecosystem to face the challenges of registering and authorizing their business models before the Financial Market Commission (CMF) in one place with specialized, comprehensive, and collaborative advice.

Francisco Cabezón, Director of Risk Advisory at Deloitte, highlighted the relevance of having this service, noting that “the new regulatory context will be quite demanding for Fintech companies. With the due adjustments and proportionality, they will now have to operate with a different standard ensuring the continuity of their services and adequate management of the different risks they face.”
The Fintech Law creates the framework statute that regulates the existence and operation of Fintech companies in services related to the securities market and crowdfunding platforms and lays the groundwork for creating an open finance system in the financial industry.
