Companhia Energética do Ceará’s $54 Million Notes Offering

Pinheiro Guimarães and Veirano advised on the deal

Companhia Energética do Ceará executed its offering of $54 million notes. Banco Itaú BBA S.A. acted as led manager and underwriter on the transaction.

Companhia Energetica do Ceara operating as a subsidiary of Enel Group, distributes electricity to industrial, agricultural, commercial and residential customers in Brazil, in several municipalities of the Brazilian State of Ceara, in north eastern Brazil. The company, led by Roberto Zanchi, Raffaele Enrico Grandi and Jose Tavora Batista, in 2018 recorded $1.676 billion revenues.
