ChargeLab’s $19.3 Million Series A Financing Round

Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP advised ChargeLab on the round.

On May 19 2022, ChargeLab, a Toronto-based, electric vehicle charging start-up, announced it had completed its $19.3 million Series A financing round led by King River Capital with participation from ABB E-Mobility, Construct Capital, Root Venture, Third Sphere, Maple VC, and Highline Beta.

This capital will allow ChargeLab to expand its product capabilities and support their goal to be the software management system that powers the electric vehicle (EV) charging industry globally.

The startup builds software to manage EV charging equipment with the key element being that its software can be used across a variety of charging networks.

The Osler team comprised of Chad Bayne (Picture), Gary Marshall, Mihnea Horatiu Porime and Satnam Singh Dosanjh (Emerging and High Growth Companies).
