Bridgepoint’s Acquisition of A Majority Stake in Infinigate Holding AG

The British private equity investor Bridgepoint acquired a majority stake in Infinigate Holding AG from US private equity investor H.I.G. Capital.

Infinigate Holding AG specializes in the distribution of IT security solutions for the sustainable protection of IT networks, servers, end devices, data, applications and the cloud. As a true value added distributor, it focuses on innovative and explanation-intensive cyber security solutions for enterprises and provides partners and vendors with a range of additional services in the areas of technology, marketing and sales. It operates across Europe with around 450 employees and 12 subsidiaries.

The acquisition was supported by financing provided by Pemberton and Goldman Sachs (together providing the unitranche term debt) and UBS (providing the super senior revolving debt).
