Athena Technology II’s $250 Million Initial Public Offering

Athena Technology Acquisition Corp II (NYSE:ATEK.U), a newly incorporated blank check company, announced its $250 million initial public offering (IPO) of 25,000,000 units priced at $10.00 per unit.

The units were listed and traded on the NYSE beginning December 10, 2021.

Athena Technology II is the third all-women Athena SPAC founded by Isabelle Freidheim following Athena Technology Acquisition Corp., which was the first all-women SPAC to announce a business combination, and Athena Consumer Acquisition Corp., which closed on its initial public offering in October 2021.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. (“Citigroup”) is serving as sole bookrunner and representative of the underwriters, and Roberts & Ryan Investments, Inc., Siebert Williams Shank & Co., LLC and Tigress Financial Partners LLC are acting as co-managers of the offering. The Company has granted the underwriters a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 3,750,000 units at the initial public offering price to cover over-allotments, if any.
