Cantabrian energy retailer Aldro Energía completed the sale to the Italian energy group Eni Gas e Luce. Thanks to this transaction, the Italian multinational gains a foothold in the Spanish retail power and gas market for consumers and SMEs. The deal includes the acquisition of the services company Instalaciones Martínez Díaz.
Aldro Energía, headquartered in Cantabria, supplies energy to 250,000 customers mainly in Spain and Portugal. Eni Gas e Luce offers a wide range of efficient energy products and services to provide highly professional and sustainable solutions and contribute to the energy transition.
With this acquisition, which will be completed once it has been authorized by the competent authorities, Eni Gas e Luce seeks to collaborate actively in expanding Aldro Energía, promoting efficient energy services, photovoltaic power and electric mobility.
